Ilenia Arnolfo
Journalist, TV presenter, model, actress
Turin
Ilenia was born near Cuneo, and due to being particularly well suited for dance, she approached rhythmic gymnastics as early as in her child age. Then, while on stage as the main star of a show inspired by novel “Momo” by M. Ende, she notices her eagerness towards acting, and decides to also devote herself to theater. This activity will last for her whole time spent studying at the Liceo Scientifico, in which she will land leading roles for musical, comic and dramatic productions.
At 17, she entered the world of work, collaborating with well-known brands in the fashion sector and appearing for on video her very first time: these experiences will be predominant in her time in university, in which she works as a wearer and photomodel, presenter, actress for national and international commercials and TV fictions (Gucci, McQueen, La Perla, Samsung, Ferrero, Azimut Yacht, Diageo, Clarion, Vergnano, Sky HD, RAI Fiction,…).
She graduated in Linguistic Mediation and specializedcum laude in International Communication, in between the University of Turin and the Carlos III University in Madrid, with a thesis discussing corporate social responsibility of the Inditex group.
After obtaining her qualification as a translator (French and Spanish) for performing activities as a legal translator, she puts her strong interest in marketing to fruition, thanks to an experience in L’Orèal Paris, with the appointment of managing education, communication and events.
In 2010, she’s nominated as “Miss Earth” for Italy, an international competition collaborating with UNEP, the United Nations Environment Program, which aims to raise awareness on sustainability and climate emergency issues. She gets selected thanks to a business plan presented in English language, regarding the production of design products with recycled material, favoring the creation of new green areas within the city.
She then leaves for Vietnam, in order to represent Italy among 90 participants from all over the world. Over the course of 4 weeks she meets civil, military and political authorities, participating in press conferences, heading interviews and events, and also placing herself among the competition’s finalists.
On her way back, she takes her first steps in journalism, handling news of Northwestern station Telecupole, and having transfers which take her all over northern Italy. She will soon become involved in politics, economics, health, customs and agriculture, as correspondent, editor and presenter of newsletter and prime time broadcasts also in French language.
A dream come true, which allows her to use her diversified skills she acquired up to that moment, with creativity and personality, especially in the packaging of reportages and new formats.
Currently in force at LaPresse, besides covering all main events in the area as an agency journalist, she dedicates herself to food and nutrition with the daily magazine “Buonissimo”, broadcast on the FoodNetwork channel (Discovery Italy); she also covers Serie A as the female face of Torino Channel, a Sky thematic channel, with daily, pre and post game panels from both studio and pitch
